在「Mamma Mia!」電影的第四個樂段中，是以阿巴的 Dancing Queen 來帶起全劇的第一高潮，故事是承接上一個樂段 Mama Mía 的情節，訴說著 Donna 因為在毫無預料的情況之下，發現了這三位多年前曾經一起愛過與悲傷過的舊情人，出現在她所經營的小旅店中，而且就在自己女兒的婚禮前幾天，那愛與恨交織的衝突在內心中洶湧著無法平靜，又以為這對於不知情的女兒 Sophie 會造成打擊，以至於感到極度的悲傷茫然且不知所措。

而她的兩位姊妹 Tanya 和 Rosie 見到此情況，便試圖以歌聲來安撫與鼓舞她，以這首 Dancing Queen 來讓 Donna 喚起那塵封於記憶深處多年前的美麗光景，使得 Donna 回想起了當年青春洋溢縱情歌舞的花漾年華，在那無憂無慮的少女時期，大家曾經是如此地瘋狂歡笑，一起走過那充滿酸甜苦辣的青春歲月。就如同歌詞中所唱的那般：「You are the Dancing Queen! Young and sweet! Only seventeen!」，將整首歌曲的靈魂完美地鉤勒出來。

在這個歌舞樂段中，利用這首風華四溢的旋律感染整個島上的居民，大家一起把憂愁與煩腦全拋到腦後，敞開心胸盡情的歌唱與舞動，紛紛跟隨著 Donna 一行人的腳步一路從山頂旅館歌舞狂歡到海邊小碼頭。而在這一幕場景中，當年阿巴合唱團的其中一位老團員也有參與演出，算是在這部電影的前半段裡，最高潮的一個片段。底下就跟各位分享這段影片以及其原始版本的歌詞：
